I've been uploading life drawings of late, all of which I've been doing straight in to photoshop with a graphics tablet seeing as my new job involves using this skill. I've seen some pretty amazing, clean stuff being done with no back up sketches and I'd like to reach a similar level.

I definitely struggle with the male figure, so I'd like to thank those people who's stock images I've been using to practise with. You can find their links on the image pages.

I think my next three drawings will be female, just to shake things up a bit! I am definitely more able with the female form but I've chosen some very nice and slightly challenging images to work from to keep the improvements rolling.

It saddens me that there aren't as many quality stock images for classic male nudes as there are female. There's an abundance of boob on this site you'd think they could try even it up a bit!

Whilst there is male nude stock I find some of it... a bit... I don't know how to explain without being insulting but I see the male form as representing strength and virility even if it's not some buff dude. Hell some classic poses of the pot bellied variety would be fine. But I seem to flick through the male ones and find rather a lot striking pretty feminine poses that really don't speak out to me. Maybe it's just a matter of taste.
